Long before Frank Clayton arrived at MBFD our mission was to photograph the type of traditional family man one simply wouldn't expect to find posing nude on a commercial website: weird crushes etc. Mr Ratcliffe fell very much into that category and we actually talked to him for over two years about him modelling for us. One day, when he finally had the family house all to himself, he invited us round to capture a little of what he had to offer. We don't know too much about Mr Ratcliffe's personal life except that he was once a school maths teacher he may tutor privately now, but either way this is a man who love just loves fractions and algebra. Very happily married and with offspring that have just finished their education, perhaps this polite quiet 52-year-old gentleman felt it was time to surprise some ex-pupils or fellow teachers for that matter who may have thought he was a shy, retiring, fuddy-duddy. Just as your own school teacher may have once called you into his private quarters Mr. Ratcliffe invited us into his elegant sitting room, removed his spectacles and poured himself a glass of single malt whiskey - probably to steady his nerves. In total silence he then unzipped his trousers and revealed something that one might expect to see hanging between the legs of a Dalmation. Who could have ever imagine hearing their maths teacher utter the words: 'Stand back - I'm a heavy cummer...'
