During that meeting, we received a message from his family that asked us to not do anything right away. We respected his family’s wishes and did nothing publicly. Because is a sensitive subject, even though we were honoring his familie’s wishes, we were chastised for how we handled that… to some, it wasn’t enough and it was disrespectful that we still held Fratpad Friday that week. This week, we knew it was a going to reignite some passionate opinions as we released his Fratmen update but for me, I’ve decided that throwing his footage away like he didn’t exist would be just as difficult as deleting his phone number from my phone; it’s something I just can’t do. Fratmen Raphael existed. He was here, he was a part of us, and I stand behind our company’s decision to share this beautiful young man with the world. Raphael is a Fratmen and I’m damn proud of it.
