Scout James was finally able to come to one of the big scout campouts. Since he started scouting we understood he had lived a sheltered life but learned more about him as he opened up, conversing more with the others over time. He opened up to me at a previous gathering about being gay and a desire to be with other boys and men, making me more protective and teaching him more about gay sex, giving him a deep penetrating lesson. As one of his scoutmasters, I thought to myself, “James has learned so much since joining the scouts. He was scared at first to try something so new. But, he’s glad he did. I look forward to many more trips with him, and for him to get to know the rest of the guys.” Making that campout even better was the beautiful weather that day, cool breezes and bright sunshine. All the boys and scoutmasters were in great spirits, even mischievous, playing little pranks on each other, short-sheeting a cot or giving another scout a wedgie. I enjoy seeing them have a good time.
Some of the more seasoned and older scouts present at this campout instructed Scout James on how to build a proper campfire. He did a great job and while sitting around the crackling campfire, Scouts Dex and James locked their eyes on each other, showing interest. I noticed that, watching them out my peripheral vision, while James periodically would look away, Dex did not, he never broke eye contact. He knew what he liked and wanted. Dex was damned well going for it. After a while, both scouts casually wandered off into the woods. I knew that James was timid, sometimes afraid to branch out, to let his real personality shine and wanted to make sure he was doing what pleased him. After a short time, I decided to check on them.
